Siblings: Her BFF, a rottweiler named Nala, passed away a year ago. Wit’l has not yet located another BFF.
Disability: Loss of left hind leg.

Looking out the window, chewing nylabone dinos, going for walks.

She can do a “flop down” on command.

How Wit’s lost her leg:
At six months of age she may have been hit by a car. The local humane society picked her up as a stray. Because of the injury to her back leg the humane society brought her to the 24 hour emergency hospital where her new owner worked.
Since she was a stray, and the leg was so severely injured the best option was to remove the leg. The day after the amputation she was up and moving around on her own as though it was a relief to finally be rid of the leg and the pain.

Wit’l is a happy dog always wagging that tail of hers. The fact that she is different from other four legged dogs, is not an obstacle for her. She just strides through life happy for what she has.
