How Tom lost his leg.

I don’t actually know. He is a rescue dog. I was reading the local Long Beach magazine in California and they had a bunch of pictures of rescue dogs that needed homes. Every other dog got a full body shot and Tom just got a side profile. I thought that was kind of funny. Doesn’t this little buddy deserve a full body shot I thought?

Well, I read his little bio and it said he was a pistol and a charmer with the ladies, and that he came to them with a broken leg. But he was “out of his cast” and ready for a new home. I thought about him for days, I talked about him nonstop. I finally called about him; “Is Tom there. . . .” After 45 minutes of telling me how adorable and sweet and loving Tom was, the woman on the phone finally said…”so we cut it off.” So I quickly said “I’ll be right over,” and he has been mine ever since.
